Borden & Remington is a leader in quality initiatives. We are have been registered to the ISO 9000 Quality Standard for the past ten years. We realize that procedures and documents must be controlled to assure continuity of our products and processes. With our quality system in place, we can offer our customers a greater satisfaction in knowing that they are dealing with a quality oriented company. We strive to meet all of our customer's needs and offer the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Borden & Remington is committed to product stewardship and responsible distribution in every phase of chemical storage, handling, transportation, and disposal. As a member in the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), we signed a commitment to the NACD Responsible Distribution ProcessSM (RDP), which requires members to continuously improve performance in protecting health, safety, and the environment. The Responsible Distribution ProcessSM is designed to be sensitive and responsive to community needs and public concerns. It embodies the commitment of each member company to the responsible management of chemical products. NACD members play a leadership role in their communities as technical and safety resources and are eager to provide the same assistance and guidance to local, state, and federal legislators on technical issues relating to the safe handling, storage, transportation, use, and disposal of chemical products. A key requirement of RDP and a condition of membership in NACD is verification of members' RDP policies and procedures by a third-party firm. First, document verification of company RDP policies and procedures is required of Candidate Members. All Regular NACD members have fulfilled this obligation. Second, RDP Verification (RDPV) is required by all Regular Members. RDPV verifies member companies' implementation of RDP policies and procedures via a facility visit and personnel interviews.

Many of the chemicals that we provide are related to the drinking water and waste water applications. Considering this fact, we are heavily involved in National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) activities. NSF International was founded in 1944 as the National Sanitation Foundation. As a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization, NSF is the leading global provider of public health and safety risk management solutions pertaining to water industries. From extensive product testing and material analyses to unannounced plant inspections, NSF is the only third-party testing organization to undertake a complete evaluation of every aspect of a product's development before it can earn their certification. The certification programs require regular on-site inspections of our manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with the Standard. We feel that compliance to this Standard is necessary when dealing with municipalities where quality concerns can be an issue.
